So you have found yourself on the beautiful beach of Kefalos on the marvellous island of Kos. After swimming in its crystal blue green waters and laying under the glorious sun, something catches your eye. It is this tiny islet of Kastri, that looks like a little gem, jutting out of the Aegean sea. You go back into the water and swim across to reach its shore – it’s that close. You walk around its barren, rocky beauty. You soon make it all the way around to the chapel of St. Nicholas, protector of sailormen. You realize that you could stay here forever. You take a deep breath. This air will always stay with you.
